A name or location submitted through a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Wise County Criminal History does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Messages sent by email are kept as needed to prepare and deliver a response. They are not shared beyond the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Wise County Criminal History does not compile, maintain, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes directions to official custodians, including the Wise County Sheriff's Office, local criminal courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Service, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Government Code Chapter 411 governs the dissemination of Texas criminal-history information, while the Texas Public Information Act in Government Code Chapter 552 governs access to public information held by covered government bodies. Neither law turns this private website into an official record repository. The website is not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information entered into a partner tool is handled under that company's privacy terms, retention schedule, and disclosure practices. Those practices are not controlled by Wise County Criminal History. Review the provider's policy before submitting a query.

Links may lead to Wise County offices, Texas agencies, courts, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy policy applies. Consider that policy before providing personal information.
